Our workplace is tucked away in Andal Gram, a village in the Burdwan district. We use a simple building near the post office to run our technology firm. It’s not the kind of place you’d expect to find a software team, but we like the quiet of the village. Most of us grew up in or around Burdwan, so we feel right at home here. We handle different kinds of tech solutions, from basic software help to more involved technical tasks for clients. There isn’t a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting you at the door. You just walk in and find us at our desks. The roads in Andal Gram can be a bit rough after a heavy rain, but we always manage to show up and get the work finished. We aren’t trying to compete with those big firms in the city centers. We just want to provide good tech help to whoever needs it from our little spot in the village. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and trying to solve problems. We take lunch breaks at the local stalls nearby and talk to the neighbors. It’s a very simple lifestyle, and we think it helps us focus better on the actual work without all the distractions of a big city. Being in a rural area like this has its challenges, but it’s where we belong.
