Associate Software Engineer

Down in Penugonda, right near the Busstand Road, you’ll find my workspace. I’m T. Sri Rama Reddy, and I work as a software engineer in this part of West Godavari. It’s a bit different than the big cities, but the work is the same. I spend most of my time on the computer, writing scripts and checking for errors. People around here know me as the guy who understands the digital side of things. Since the bus stand is so close, there’s always noise and people moving about outside. I don’t mind it. It feels like real life. I started this because I was always good with technology, even when I was younger. Now, I help local businesses or individuals who need software help. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s just a room with a desk, a couple of monitors, and a lot of books. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things. If a problem is simple, I give a simple solution. The district is mostly known for farming, but there’s a growing need for tech too. I’m just happy to be able to do this kind of work in my hometown. You don’t need a fancy office in a skyscraper to write good code. You just need a quiet corner and a brain that can solve problems. I usually have a fan running because it gets quite warm here in the afternoons. Sometimes the internet is slow, but I just use that time to read or plan out the next project before the sun goes down.
