Ascent Technologies

Ascent Technologies is based out of B-21 in the IAL Colony, right opposite the Police Lines. It is a fairly quiet spot compared to the main roads, which makes it a decent place to get some actual work done without too much distraction. Being right across from the Police Lines makes it easy for people to find us, which is helpful since some of these colony lanes can look the same if you are not from around here. The office itself is just a regular room that we have set up with a few desks and chairs. We spend a lot of time sitting here staring at screens and trying to figure out technical problems that come our way. It is not the kind of place with a big lobby or a person waiting at the door to greet you. Usually, you will just find a couple of us hunched over a laptop or talking about a project. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea because that is basically what keeps us going through the long afternoons. The walls are mostly bare, except for maybe a calendar and some notes taped up near the desks. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office, which suits our style just fine. We just show up every day, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a simple, honest way to run things.
