Apex Senior Secondary School

Up here in Madinaguda, things stay pretty busy. Our school is right in the middle of it all in Hyderabad. You can hear the traffic from the main road if you listen closely enough during the quiet parts of the day. The building has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots. Those heavy gates stay shut once the morning bell rings. Every day follows the same routine. Younger kids show up first, usually looking a bit sleepy. Then the older ones arrive with their heavy bags. It’s a lot of noise for a few hours. Concrete stairs are what everyone uses to go up and down all day. The hallway gets a bit crowded when classes change. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many students, there’s always something that needs fixing. There’s a small space where they play, though it’s not exactly a big stadium. Since the heat in Hyderabad gets really bad, the fans stay on full blast. Most parents live nearby, so we see them walking their kids over every morning. It feels like a neighborhood spot. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It's just a school where the kids come to do their work and the teachers try to get through their lessons before the afternoon sun gets too hot. By the time the final bell rings, everyone is ready to head home. We just open the gates and watch them leave.
