Ap Residential School For Girls

This is the residential school for girls in Chanda Nagar. We are at Shop No 4-116 on the Main Road. It’s right beside the lane that goes to the Oriental Bank of Commerce. It's a very busy area with a lot of shops and banks around us. Since it’s a girls' school, we keep the gate locked mostly for safety. We have a small team of women who manage the day-to-day things. The building is right on the street, so you can hear the buses and cars all day. Inside, we have rooms for the girls to sleep and a few rooms for classes. It's a bit of an old-fashioned setup. We don't have a big yard, so the girls spend most of their time indoors. We do our own cooking here. The kitchen is always going. We have to manage the supplies and the schedules for everyone. It’s a lot of responsibility. The 500050 area has changed a lot, but we’ve stayed in this spot. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just take in students and try to give them a safe place to stay while they study. It’s simple and honest work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use candles or lanterns. That’s just life here. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
