Anupuma Solar

If you go near the Annapurna Mess in Warasiguda, you’ll find us at Anupuma Solar. We chose this spot because it’s easy for people to find once they know where the mess is. Our day usually starts when the sun comes up, which makes sense given what we do. We spend a lot of time out on rooftops or in the backyard working with solar panels and wiring. It’s hot work, and we’re usually pretty tired by the time we get back to the shop. The office is small and usually has a few solar components sitting on the floor waiting to be installed. We aren't big on fancy presentations or sales pitches. We just show people how the panels work and what they need to do to keep them running. Living and working in Warasiguda is alright, though the streets can get pretty crowded during lunch hours when everyone is heading to the mess. Sometimes we go over there ourselves for a quick meal. We’ve been helping people with solar stuff for a while now, mostly just by word of mouth. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. We just focus on getting the brackets tight and the wires connected properly. It’s practical work that helps people save a bit on their bills, and that’s enough for us to keep going.
