Akshara Unisex Saloon

You can find us at Lpn Nilayam in the Addagutta Society area of Hmt Hills-Kukatpally. We are right across the road from Keshava Motors. This is a unisex saloon, so we get all sorts of people walking through the door. Men come in for a quick shave or a trim and women come by for hair styling or coloring. The shop isn’t overly fancy. We have the standard black chairs and large mirrors that you see in most saloons. The floor is often covered in bits of hair because we stay pretty busy throughout the day. We try to keep it tidy but sometimes the broom just can't keep up when there's a rush. My team is small and we’ve been working together in this location for a good while now. We know most of the regular customers from the Addagutta Society by their first names. It's a busy neighborhood so there is always noise from the street coming in through the front door. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We don't use any high-tech systems for bookings, just a notebook and a pen mostly. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and we can't get to it right away if we are in the middle of a haircut. It’s just a regular, honest place where you can get your hair done without any big drama or expensive prices. We just try to do a decent job every day.
