Our office is at 14-43 in the P N T Colony area of Dilsuk Nagar. Being in Hyderabad, everything is always moving fast, but this colony is a bit more settled. Aas Technologies is basically a bunch of us sitting around computers in a converted house. You can see the cables running along the baseboards because we’re always adding new stuff. It’s not the kind of place with a glass front or a shiny lobby. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on. Dilsuk Nagar is a busy part of town, so there's always someone coming or going. We do a lot of technical work, mostly sitting at our desks with headphones on to block out the street noise. The furniture is a bit mismatched. Some chairs are comfortable, some make a weird squeaking sound when you sit down. We’ve been here in Andhra Pradesh for a while now, through all the changes. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on the projects at hand. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, ordering food from the place around the corner. We don't have a big corporate feel. It’s just a local tech office where people work hard and then head home to their families in the evening. That's our daily routine here in the colony.
