Metro Bricks And Block is located in Village-Gram Rampura. We are near Post Rajapur in the Tahsil Nagod area. This is a rural spot where things move at their own pace. We make both the traditional red bricks and the newer cement blocks. The village setting means we are surrounded by fields and open sky. It is a far cry from the big cities. Most of the people who work here live just down the road. We are part of the local community in this district. The road to Nagod is sometimes a bit rough but it is the main way we get our products out. We have a big storage area where we keep the blocks until they are cured properly. It is a process that can't be rushed. If you try to hurry it they just break. So we take our time. Our office is just a small cabin with a fan and a few registers. We don't use computers much for the day to day stuff. It is all handwritten. We see a lot of local farmers and builders who come by for a few loads. We talk about the weather and the crops while they wait. It is a peaceful place to work despite the noise of the machinery. We have been here for a good while and plan to stay. It is just honest work in a quiet corner of the world.
