Walchandnagar Industries Limited

Our place is located near Satara Road in the Koregaon area. It’s quite a large site, and we’ve been a fixture in this part of the country for a very long time. Walchandnagar Industries Limited is a big name, but when you’re on the ground here, it feels more like a small town. There are different sections for different kinds of heavy work. We have big sheds where massive pieces of equipment are put together. You can hear the cranes moving overhead and the sound of hammers hitting steel all day long. It’s a lot of walking to get from one end to the other, and you definitely need good boots. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, some even for decades. We don't really do the flashy corporate thing; we just focus on the heavy engineering that needs to get done. The landscape around Satara Road is a bit quiet compared to the noise inside the gates. We have our own way of doing things that’s been passed down through the crews. There's a lot of grease, a lot of sweat, and plenty of heavy lifting. It's the kind of place where things are built to last, and the work is often slow and methodical. We just show up, do the shift, and make sure the machines are ready for the next day. It’s a long-standing tradition of hard work in the Tal Koregaon area, and we just keep it going.
