Ar Engineering

You can find Ar Engineering at L-77 in the Additional M.I.D.C. area. It is a typical industrial setup with a large shed and some basic machinery for metalwork. We do a lot of fabrication and general engineering tasks. The noise can be quite loud when the drills and welders are going at the same time. We have been here for a while and have built up a small, steady group of clients from the surrounding factories. Our office is just a tiny room partitioned off from the main shop floor. It is usually covered in dust and blueprints. We are a small team of about four or five guys who are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We wear heavy overalls and safety boots all day. It is not a place for suits or ties. We focus on making sure the measurements are right and the welds are strong. Sometimes the power cuts out in the M.I.D.C., which stops everything, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. We have a small stove for making tea and a bench where we sit for breaks. It is a straightforward business with no hidden extras. We just do the engineering work that people pay us for and try to do it properly. It is a tiring job but we are used to it. The machinery is old but we maintain it.
