Kidzee

Kidzee is located at Hajiapur Chowk in Gopalganj. If you know the chowk, you know it is one of the busiest spots around, with a lot of shops and people moving about. The school is right there in the mix. Because the focus is on very young children, the rooms are filled with bright colors and a lot of plastic toys scattered on the floor. It is rarely quiet inside. Someone is usually crying, someone is laughing, or a nursery rhyme is playing in the background. The staff has their hands full from the moment the parents drop the kids off until they pick them up again. A small outdoor area exists, but most time is spent inside where it is safer and cooler. The building itself is simple. Keeping things clean is a priority, but with toddlers around, there is always a stray crayon mark on the wall or a spilled drink to deal with. Gopalganj can be quite dusty, so the entrance needs constant sweeping. No complicated teaching methods are used here, just the usual games and songs that help the little ones pass the time. Parents in Hajiapur Chowk seem to appreciate having a place close by where their children can stay for a few hours. It’s a busy, messy, and loud environment, but that is just what is expected from a preschool. The toy bins are rarely organized for long. We just do our best to keep everyone happy and safe until the day ends. Things move along one day at a time.
