Bachpan Play School

If you are looking for us, we are right in front of the Siwan railway station on Babunia Road. It is a very busy spot with people always rushing to catch their trains, so it can be quite noisy throughout the day. The school itself is tucked away just enough so the little kids stay safe inside. We have painted the walls with some bright colors and pictures to make it look a bit more cheerful for the toddlers. It is mostly a place where parents leave their young ones for a few hours so they can get some work done. We have some plastic toys and some mats on the floor where they sit and learn their alphabets. Sometimes the kids cry when they first arrive, but they usually settle down once they see the other children playing. The traffic on Babunia Road is quite heavy in the mornings and evenings, so drop-off time can be a bit of a headache with all the rickshaws and bikes. We don't have a massive staff, just a few local women who are good with children. We don't make any big promises about being the most advanced school or anything. It is just a plain, decent play school for the families living around Siwan. We keep a logbook of who comes in and out, and we try to make sure the kids have a little snack before they go home.
