We are based at 34 Gadaiya, in the Lonipar area near Jari Bazar. Jalodari Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited is a local group here in Bara. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass windows. It is just a regular building where we gather to talk about the crops and the work. Being near Jari Bazar means there is always people moving around and plenty of noise. We like it because it feels alive. Most of us are women from around here who know how hard the farm work can be. We spend our days looking at the produce and trying to get everything sorted. It’s not always easy, especially when the seasons change and the water is low. We just do what needs to be done. You won't find any polished sales talk here. We just speak plain English and get to the point. If a bag of grain is heavy, we help each other move it. If the market is slow, we sit and wait. That is just the way it goes. The address in Lonipar is where we keep our tools and our records. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land. No one is trying to be a boss; we just work together as a group. Every day brings a new challenge but we just keep moving forward.
