Super Ten Narayanpur Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are the Super Ten Narayanpur Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our main spot is with Dinesh Marandi in the village of Madhusingha, which is in the Bagrudih area. It is a small place and everyone around here knows Dinesh. We started this group because we wanted to have a better way for the farmers in Narayanpur to work together. It isn't a corporate office with a receptionist or anything like that. We usually sit on the porch or in the main room and talk about what needs to be done. We deal with whatever crops are in season. There are about ten of us who really pushed to get this started, hence the name. We spend a lot of time walking to different farms and talking to the families. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes it gets exhausting. We don't have a lot of equipment or big trucks yet. We just use what we have. Most of the time, we are just trying to figure out how to get our produce to the markets without losing money. It is a tough business but we are local people and we know this land. We don't use big words or make big promises. We just try to help each other out when someone is having a bad year. It is a community thing more than anything else. That is just how we do things in Madhusingha. We just keep going.
