Paramount Public School

If you’re driving down the Sunam-Bathinda Road, you’ll find Paramount Public School right there in Cheema. Sangrur is a quiet place mostly, and our spot on the road is pretty well-known to the locals. We’ve got kids coming in from all the nearby villages and the main town area. It gets a bit dusty out here sometimes because of the road, but that’s just how it is in this part of Punjab. The school itself has been part of the Cheema community for a good bit of time. We spend our days making sure the classrooms are ready and the kids have what they need to get through their lessons. It’s not a complicated setup. We have the usual desks, boards, and a playground where the children spend their breaks. Most of us grew up around Sangrur, so we know the families who send their children here. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. It’s a practical place. We don’t have all those flashy things you might find in a big city school, but we have enough to keep the learning going. The winters get quite cold, and the summers are really bright, but life keeps moving on the Sunam-Bathinda Road. We just keep the doors open and focus on the day-to-day tasks that come with running a school in a rural area.
