You can find Vijaya Tiles right on the Peth - Sangli Road. We are located in Shripad Nagar, which is part of Uran Islampur. Most people tell others to look for the HP Gas Agency because it is very close to us and hard to miss. Our shop is full of different tiles, and honestly, there is a lot of dust that comes with moving all that ceramic and stone around. We spend a good part of the morning just wiping things down so people can see the colors properly. It is a busy road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by outside. We have stacks of tiles piled up in the back and samples laid out on the floor. Customers come in looking for something for their floors or bathrooms, and we just show them what is currently in stock. It’s heavy work, lifting those boxes and loading them onto tempos. My hands are usually dry from the tile dust by the end of the day. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, so we keep the big front doors open for the breeze. Sometimes it gets hot in the afternoons, but that is just how it is in Islampur. We don't do anything fancy with the display. It’s just rows of tiles and a desk where we handle the bills. It’s a straightforward business and we stay pretty busy with the local builders and homeowners who stop by.
