We’ve been running Keshan Granite Exports Pvt Ltd for a while now from our spot in Saniya. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the Civil Hospital East Compound. It’s a busy area near Deshpande Udyan, so there’s always something going on around here. Dealing with granite is heavy work. Most days are spent looking at slabs, checking for cracks, and making sure the crates are packed right for the export side of things. It’s not a fancy office. It’s mostly stone and people getting their hands dirty. We deal with a lot of different blocks coming in and going out. The trucks come in through the gate near the hospital area and it gets pretty loud. We just focus on getting the stone where it needs to go. Sometimes the weather makes things tough because moving big granite pieces in the rain is a mess. We try to keep things organized but a stone yard is always going to have some dust and grit. People around here know us by now. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to for the paperwork. Most of the day is spent outside or in the shed checking the inventory. It's a straightforward business. We just handle the granite slabs and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules. That’s pretty much the daily routine for everyone working here at the yard. The granite comes from quarries far away and we just manage the logistics of it.
