You can find us over in Miraj, specifically in the V R Landmark Apartment. We are in Flat T 1, right at City Survey Number 404/6. The company is Vijay Raj Buildcon LLP. Being in the Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad area means we know this region pretty well. It’s a quieter pace than Mumbai or Pune, but there’s still plenty of building going on. Our office is part of one of the buildings we are associated with. It’s comfortable, though it gets a bit cramped when all the supervisors come in at once to talk about the weekly progress. We deal with the day-to-day realities of construction—ordering cement, arguing with transporters about delivery times, and checking the quality of the bricks. It’s not glamorous. There’s a lot of waiting for permits and watching the sky during monsoon season. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people who know how to put a building together. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some planning done. We’ve been at this for a while in the Miraj area. People know us by our name, and we try to keep that reputation solid. It’s hard work, and we are usually tired by the end of the day. But we stay at it. We aren't looking to change the world, just to build good enough spaces for people to live in.
