Navkrishna Valley Gurukul

Navkrishna Valley Gurukul is located out in the Kupwad MIDC area of Sangli. It might seem a bit strange to have a school in an industrial zone, but it actually works out okay because it's away from the main town center's heavy traffic. We are in the 416436 area. The school has a bit of a different feel compared to the big city schools. We call it a Gurukul because we try to keep things grounded and traditional in how we interact with the students. The surroundings are a mix of small factories and open spaces. Every morning, the staff arrives early to get the place ready. We don't have a lot of polished marketing materials or a big corporate team. It's just us teachers and the support staff who look after the grounds. Sometimes the trucks going to the MIDC make a bit of noise, but usually, it's pretty quiet within our walls. We have kids coming in from all over Sangli, and many of them use the local transport. The building is sturdy and does the job. We spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather in Sangli allows it. It is a practical place where we just get on with the business of teaching and making sure the children are doing their work. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a lesson or fixing something around the yard. It's just how we run things here.
