You can find our college right off the Mumbai Goa Highway, specifically in the Sk Patil Nagar area of Chiplun. Because we are so close to the highway, there is a constant background noise of vehicles passing by, which we’ve all just gotten used to over the years. The campus is spread out over a bit of land in Maharashtra, with different blocks for the various departments. We have some trees and a bit of greenery, but it’s mostly functional space for the students. The canteen is a popular spot where people go for tea and a quick bite, and it’s usually the loudest part of the college. Our buildings aren't brand new; they have that lived-in look with some wear on the stairs and walls. We have a small parking area that’s always full of motorbikes. It’s a busy place with a lot of young people coming and going from all parts of Chiplun and the nearby towns. We don’t go in for anything too polished or corporate. It’s just a regular college where the focus is on the daily lectures and getting students through their exams. The staff room is usually a bit cluttered with papers and books. We take things one day at a time, making sure the classrooms are open and the labs are ready for use. It’s a solid, local institution that has been part of this highway stretch for a long time.
