Icon Events

Operating out of Miraj Ho, we’ve got Icon Events set up right here in the heart of the community. It’s a bit of a maze around here sometimes, but we know these streets well. We started this because we liked being around when people are having a good time, though it’s a lot more lifting and hauling than it looks from the outside. The Miraj weather can be tough, especially in the summer months, but we just get on with it. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that people don't want to worry about when they have guests over. Our shop isn't some high-end studio; it’s a practical space where we keep all our supplies and gear stacked up. Usually, the phone starts ringing early in the morning with people asking about dates or wanting to change their minds about some detail. We try to be flexible because things never go exactly according to plan in this business. We’ve worked in various spots around Sangli and the 416410 area, so we know which halls are tricky to get into and where the power outlets are. It’s hard work, and my hands are usually dusty by noon. We don’t put on airs or try to act like something we aren't. We are just local people working for other local people, trying to make sure the lights stay on and the seating is sorted before the guests arrive.
