Our office is tucked away in Unit 12 near Ambedkar Udyan in Miraj. We are part of the Shivaji Nagar neighborhood, which is a decent spot to be based. Even though the name sounds big, we are a pretty small team here at Gpm Global. We spend most of our time dealing with contractors and making sure the building sites have what they need. It’s a lot of logistical work that most people don't see. One day we are counting bags of cement and the next we are looking at legal documents for a new site. It keeps the days interesting I suppose. The office itself is fairly quiet, except when the phones start going off all at once. We don't have a lot of polished corporate stuff going on. We just have our desks, some old chairs, and a lot of maps of the Sangli area. It gets quite hot here in the summer, so we try to get the site visits done early in the morning. We’ve been working in this region for a bit now and we know the local suppliers pretty well. That helps when things get stuck. We just try to be practical and solve problems as they come up. It’s not always perfect, but we get the jobs finished eventually. There is always a new challenge waiting around the corner, but that is just part of being in this business.
