We are based out in Sangli, specifically in the Government Colony area at Vishrambag. It is a pretty steady place to be. Archivista Engg Projects Pvt Ltd has been operating from Plot No 8 for some time now. Engineering isn't always the most exciting thing to talk about at dinner, but it keeps us busy. We deal with all the technical details and project planning that goes into building things. The office is a bit plain, but it works for what we need. You’ll mostly find us looking at charts or checking the latest regulations from the state. Maharashtra is a big place and there is always some project happening somewhere that needs an engineer's eye. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan and someone typing away. Being in a place like Sangli means we know our neighbors and things move at a slightly different pace than in Mumbai or Pune. It’s practical work for practical people. We’ve got our routine down and we just keep plugging away at whatever project is on the desk that week. It’s not glamorous, but it is honest work and we have been at it long enough that the office feels like a second home to most of the staff here.
