L&T Steel Service Centre

We are located over at Plot No.277 in the Id Park at Pashamylaram. It’s a large space because steel takes up a lot of room. L&T Steel Service Centre is basically where all the cutting and sorting happens. The machines can be loud, so we’ve all gotten used to shouting a bit over the noise. It’s mostly about managing the inventory and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. We see a lot of different faces coming through the gates every morning. Pashamylaram is a busy industrial hub, so there is always traffic and movement around us. Our team isn't very large, just enough people to keep the cranes moving and the paperwork sorted. Sometimes the schedules get a bit messy when a shipment is late, but we figure it out. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back or near the loading docks. We’ve been at this plot for a good amount of time now. The steel comes in, we do what needs to be done with it, and then it heads back out to whoever needs it. It’s steady work. We try to keep the place organized, though with this much metal lying around, it’s a constant job. That’s pretty much the daily life here for us. We don't have a lot of meetings, we just get on with it. It’s a practical environment for people who don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty with the metal every day.
