We are out in Ghanpur, specifically at Parvathapur Village. Our setup is Killa Ghanpur Farmers Producer Companylimited. Being in a village like this is different from being in the city. Our address is just 2-33, right there in Parvathapur. It is a farmer-led thing, so we spend a lot of time talking to the local guys about their crops and what they need. There is no big office building here, just a practical space where we can meet and organize. The village life is quiet, but there is always work to be done on the land. We help coordinate the produce and make sure the farmers are getting a fair shake. It is a lot of walking around and visiting different plots. Sometimes we sit under the trees to discuss the season's plans because it's cooler than being indoors. We are all local people here, so everyone knows where 2-33 is. We don't have a website or anything like that usually, just word of mouth and people stopping by the village. The paperwork can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, especially with the regulations for a producer company, but we manage it. It feels good to work where the actual farming happens. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to make sure the Ghanpur area farmers have a way to work together and get their stuff to market without too many problems. It’s hard work, but the community is worth the effort we put in.
