If you look for us, we are right near the MPDO office in the Alladurg Mandal. We operate out of the Velugu Samakya Streeshakti Building, which is a busy place most of the time. This group is run by women from the local area who are all involved in farming one way or another. Our daily routine involves a lot of talking and organizing because we have many members to keep track of. The building itself is a sturdy place where we can store some supplies and keep our records safe. Since we are close to the government offices, there’s always people walking by and it gets a bit noisy during the day. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just sit together, share some snacks, and figure out the logistics of our crops. The furniture is basic, mostly plastic chairs and a few heavy desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with the women who come in from the nearby villages. It’s a lot of practical management, making sure everyone has what they need for their fields. We try to keep the paperwork as tidy as we can, though it gets messy when we are busy. It feels like a community hub more than a cold business office. We are just local women trying to run our own company and making sure things stay on track for our families and the village. We spend time verifying each other's work so no mistakes are made in the final books.
