Ananthasagar Farmers Producer Companylimited

In the village of Ananthasagar, you’ll find our office at house number 2-40. We are part of the Chinnakodur area, and most of us have been around here since we were children. The company was set up to help the local farmers, and we run it right out of this house. It’s nothing fancy, just a few rooms with some tables and chairs where we can get together and talk. We don’t have any marketing people or a corporate strategy. We just look at what needs to be done for the season and try to make it happen. Sometimes that means a lot of late nights looking at the accounts or making phone calls to find buyers for the crops. It’s a lot of hard work, and the building can get quite cramped when a lot of farmers show up at the same time. We don’t mind, though. It’s good to have the place full of people talking and sharing news. The atmosphere is very informal. We don’t wear suits or use big business terms. We just speak plain English and get to the point. The village of Ananthasagar is where our lives are, so we take this work seriously. We want to make sure the producer company does what it’s supposed to do for the families here. It’s not a big, shiny operation, but it’s ours and it’s right here in the middle of the village where it belongs.
