Agri Infinitum Federation

We are set up at Sy. No. 118/4/1/2 in Hakeempet village. This is out in the Yeldurthy area, specifically within the Maasaipet mandal. It is a very rural setting, quite far from the rush of the big cities. To get to us, you have to drive through a lot of green patches and small village roads. The office is basically just a meeting point for our federation. We bring together different people involved in farming to talk about shared issues. Most of our meetings happen under the shade of a tree or in our simple concrete building if it is raining. There is always a tractor or two parked nearby and the sound of birds is more common than the sound of cars. We don't have high-speed internet that works all the time, so we do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with paper and pens. It is a slow pace of life here, but the work is important to the people in the mandal. We spend a lot of our time visiting different farms in the village to see how things are going. The heat in the summer is quite intense, so we usually start our day very early and take a long break in the middle of the day. There is no corporate ladder here; it is just a group of people trying to help each other out with their crops and livelihoods. It is a quiet, humble place to be.
