Aanya Bio Chem

Aanya Bio Chem is tucked away in Mohalla Ther. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We work out of a small building that used to be a storage space. Now we use it to mix and test different chemical batches for local use. It isn't a factory or anything big like that. It’s just me and a couple of other guys from the neighborhood. We have to be careful with the measurements because if you get it wrong, the whole batch is wasted. That’s money down the drain, so we take our time. The floors are a bit uneven and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it pours, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time cleaning our glass jars and keeping the scales balanced. Mohalla Ther is a tight-knit place. Everyone knows what everyone else is doing. They know we’re the ones working with the powders and liquids. We don't do any big advertising. Word gets around if you do okay work. Sometimes we get orders that are a bit too big for us, and we have to work late into the night to finish them. It’s tiring, but we don't mind the extra work when it comes. We just want to keep the business steady. We don't have fancy lab coats, just old clothes that we don't mind getting a few stains on. If you see us out in the mohalla, we’re probably just grabbing some tea.
