Tharai Travelss & Parcels is located at No 356/1 in the Empire Arcade. We are right across from the New Bus Stand in the Meyyanur area of Salem. Being across from the bus stand means it is always busy around here. There is a constant flow of people and vehicles moving past our door. We handle both travel bookings and parcel services, which keeps us on our feet. The office is often filled with boxes waiting to be sent out or people coming in to check on their tickets. It can be a bit messy sometimes with all the parcels, but we know where everything is. We have been in this spot for several years now. The Empire Arcade is a well-known building, so most people don't have trouble finding us. We don't have any fancy decorations, just a counter and some shelves for the packages. Our staff is usually busy weighing items or writing out receipts by hand. We like being in the middle of the action near the bus stand. It makes it convenient for people arriving in the city. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the parcels get delivered and the travelers get their seats. It is a practical, everyday kind of business. We stay open late most nights because that is when a lot of the buses are moving. It’s just how we run things here in Meyyanur.
