Sree Saraiswathi Travles

Sree Saraiswathi Travles is tucked away in the Udayar Compound on T V K Road. We are in Ammapettai, which is a nice, older part of Salem. My family has lived in this area for a long time, so when we started the travel business, it made sense to stay right here. It’s not like those big offices you see in the city center. Ours is more of a local spot where people from the neighborhood can just walk in and ask for a car. We have a few different vehicles we use depending on how many people are traveling. Most of our work is taking people to family functions or maybe down to the city for shopping and errands. The Udayar Compound is a bit of a landmark around here, so most people don't have trouble finding us. We keep our logs in a simple notebook and try to stay organized, though it can get a bit chaotic when three people call at once. T V K Road gets quite busy in the evenings, so we try to get our cars out early if there’s a long trip planned. We don't use any fancy computer systems or anything like that, just a phone and some local knowledge. It’s a small business and we like it that way because we get to know our customers personally. We just try to be helpful and get people where they are going without any extra trouble.
