Sindhiya Travels

We started Sindhiya Travels a while ago. It is right in the Vaniga Valagam building, on the ground floor. If you know the Old Bus Stand in Salem, you have probably walked right past us at some point. It is a busy spot but that makes it easy for people to find us when they need a trip planned. We do not do anything fancy here, just help folks get from one place to another. Most days involve answering the phone and writing down bookings in a notebook. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but that is just how it is in the center of town. We have seen the area change a lot over the years. We keep our office open pretty regular hours because people often drop in while they are out shopping or waiting for their bus. It is just a small shop, nothing too big. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy. We mostly deal with local travel and long-distance trips if people ask. There is a lot of competition around here, but we just try to keep things simple and honest. You do not need a lot of bells and whistles to run a travel desk. Just a working phone and someone who knows the roads. If you are near the Old Bus Stand, you can just walk in. Ground floor, so no stairs to climb. We have been at No 54 for a good stretch of time now.
