Sakthivel Agro Corporation

Sakthivel Agro Corporation is up on the second floor of Raj Bhavan, which is building No. 204. We are on Subramaniya Swamy Koil Street in the Fairlands neighborhood. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good spot once you get there. Being on the second floor means we have a decent view of the street below. We spend our days mostly on paperwork and coordinating things from the desk. It’s an office environment, but it feels more like a workshop because we always have samples lying around. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the temple nearby. We hear the bells and the traffic all through the afternoon. It’s a lived-in space. We have some old filing cabinets and a couple of desks that have seen better days. It doesn’t need to be fancy to work well. People come by to talk about their crops or look at what we have available. We don't have a big staff, so it's usually just one or two of us here. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings. It’s just how we run things in Fairlands. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because there are other businesses in the building. We just sort through it and get on with the day’s work. There is always a lot to keep track of with the different seasons and what the farmers need from us.
