P V Silk

P V Silk is located at No. 7-1 on Thyagi Arunachalam Street. We are quite close to the Ammapet Circle here in Ammapet. It’s a well-known spot in this part of town. The street can get quite busy, especially on festival days or weekends. Our shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got shelves lining the walls and a few counters for showing things to people. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup, but it works for us. We haven't changed much because the old way works for us. The lighting could probably be better, but we’re used to it. Most of the people who come in are locals from around the neighborhood. We know many of them by name. It’s nice to have that kind of connection. We spend a lot of our time folding and organizing. It’s a never-ending job. The Ammapet Circle is always buzzing with activity, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. We just try to be fair and do a good job with what we have. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. Sometimes it's tiring standing all day, but we enjoy the work and the people we meet. It gets quiet in the afternoons before the evening rush starts again.
