National Vaigai Speed Parcel Service

We run the parcel service out of 19-A, Maruthi Plazaa in Alagapuram. It’s right opposite the New Bus Stand in Salem, which is handy because that area is always full of activity. We deal with boxes and packages all day long. Some are small, some are heavy, and they all need to get somewhere else fast. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with stuff waiting to be loaded or picked up. That is just the nature of the parcel business. It is a lot of lifting and checking labels. We’ve been at this plaza for a while now, and the people around here know us. We don't have any polished corporate office; it’s more like a workshop where things actually get done. We talk to the drivers and the people dropping off their items. It can be a bit dusty and loud with the buses across the street, but we don't mind. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything. We just focus on making sure nothing gets lost and things move out on time. It is practical work for people who need to send things from one place to another. Every morning we open up, clear the floor, and start again. It’s a simple life here in Alagapuram, just keeping the parcels moving.
