N M Silks And Sarees is located at 24/44 keerthi Complex on Kamarajar Street. We are right there in the First Agraharam area. The complex is usually full of people coming and going. We have a lot of silk sarees and regular ones too, filling up most of the shelves from floor to ceiling. Kamarajar Street is a busy place and there is always something to see out the window. Working in the keerthi Complex means we have neighbors who are also in the trade, so we talk to them a lot during the day. Our shop isn't very large but we have managed to fit a lot into the space. We spend a lot of time unfolding and refolding the silks because they need to be handled carefully. It’s just how the business is. We don't have a corporate office or a big team of managers. It is just us and the sarees. People from First Agraharam know us well and often stop in for a chat. Sometimes we have tea together while looking at new patterns that just arrived. N M Silks And Sarees is a simple, straightforward place to find something for a wedding or a festival. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels rushed while they are looking around. The lighting in the complex can be a bit dim sometimes but we have our own lamps to show the silk properly. It’s a good life here on Kamarajar Street and we stay busy.
