Our shop is located at 72, Salai Road, right across from the Thillai Nager Petrol Bunk in Ponnamapet. It’s a handy location because if you’re filling up your tank, you can just look over and see our sign. Salai Road is almost always crowded with traffic, so there is a lot of noise and dust coming in from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days dealing with power units and different types of technology that people bring in when they're having trouble. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we stack things. Sometimes the floor gets a bit cramped with batteries or backup systems waiting to be looked at. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back for the staff. It’s a local operation, and we know many of the shopkeepers around Ponnamapet. We aren't trying to be some massive company; we just want to make sure the equipment that comes through our door actually works when it leaves. Most mornings start with us opening the shutters and sweeping out the front. People drop by with all sorts of questions about their power setups, and we do our best to give them a straight answer without any nonsense. It’s just daily work for us here at the shop, trying to be helpful to anyone who stops in.
