You can find us right on Salem Main Road, specifically near the Mettur Dam Railway Station. We are actually quite close to the Vao Office, which makes it easier for people to give directions to our place. Being near the station means there is always someone coming or going. It’s a bit of a hub around here. We spend most of our time at the desk answering phones and talking to travelers who are just getting off the train or heading to it. Salem is a large area and Mettur Dam is a specific part of it that stays pretty active. Our office isn't very large but we have everything we need to help people with their travel plans. We've seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. It’s a practical location for a travel business. We don't have any corporate slogans or big mission statements hanging on the wall. It is just us and a couple of computers and a lot of paper. Sometimes we are drinking tea and chatting with the neighbors when it’s slow. When it’s busy, we are just focused on getting the tickets right and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It’s a decent life here by the railway station. We just keep at it day by day and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door to ask for a ticket.
