If you ever find yourself in the Vanavasi area near Mettur, you might pass by our place at 27B. We are Dhoddapayya'S Silks Private Limited, and we have been handling silk here for a long time. It is a quiet part of the region, which is nice because weaving and handling silk needs a bit of concentration. The building is simple and tucked away in A. Vanavasi. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. Mostly, it’s just a place where we store the silk yarns and work on the designs. People in this area know us by name, and we like it that way. Silk is a tricky thing to work with; it’s delicate but the work itself is quite demanding on your back and eyes. We have a handful of people who have been with us since the start. We don't follow any corporate handbooks or have big meetings. Usually, we just sit down with some tea and talk about what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the weather affects how the silk feels, so we have to adjust. It’s a lot of small details that people might not notice. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there.
