About Rajendra Public School Panjuna – Education in Saharanpur
Out here in Sherpur, Bhangwanpur, Rajendra Public School Panjuna has been part of the landscape for a while. The school is tucked away a bit, and the roads leading up to us can get quite dusty during the dry months. We have a simple gate and a small yard where the kids gather every morning before the sun gets too hot. Most of the children live nearby in the village, so you see them walking in groups with their bags every morning. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches that have been around for years. You can hear the teachers’ voices carrying across the hall when the windows are open to catch the breeze. We don’t have much in terms of expensive equipment or big playgrounds. There’s enough room for the kids to run around a bit during their break, though. Usually, the day starts with a quick assembly and then everyone heads inside to get through the lessons. The bells are rung by hand, and that sound pretty much signals the rhythm of the whole neighborhood. People around here know us by name, and we know most of the families too. It is a quiet kind of place where things move at a steady pace. We just try to keep the classrooms clean and the books in order so the students have a place to sit and learn their subjects day after day.
