We have been here on Dehradun Road for quite some time now, just a short walk from Sapana Cinema. Most folks in the neighborhood know the spot because of the noise of the saws and the smell of fresh wood that usually drifts out onto the street. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning that makes you shiver. Instead, it’s a working space where things actually get made. You’ll see us moving pieces around, sanding down edges, or just sitting out front when it gets too hot inside. The shop isn't always the tidiest, but that’s because there is always a project going on. We handle a lot of different types of wood and try to make things that actually last in a normal home. Sometimes people come in with a specific idea, and other times they just want to see what we have ready to go. We keep the doors open through the day, and you can usually find one of us near the back dealing with the heavy stuff. It's a bit dusty, and the traffic on the main road can be loud, but this is where we work. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy paperwork. We'd rather be out here with the tools. If you are passing by the cinema, you can’t really miss us. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure the joints are tight and the finish is decent enough for everyday use.
