Gita Flo-Pups India Pvt. Ltd. is located right on Paper Mill Road inside the Gita Compound. It’s one of those spots that’s been here for a long time. You can see the old gates from the main road. Most mornings, the staff shows up around nine and starts moving things around. The compound has a few other businesses, so there is always some noise from trucks or people shouting instructions. We have a small office space that gets a bit hot in the summer because the fans are old. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for us since the signs aren't very big. We don't mind. We just tell them to look for the big tree near the entrance. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, but it’s sturdy enough for the work we do. There are boxes stacked against the walls most of the time. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the daily paperwork. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers well. When the heavy rain starts, the roof makes a lot of noise, and we have to move some of the files away from the windows. It’s just how it is here on Paper Mill Road.
