Geit Dehradun

Geit Dehradun is actually operating out of C-15 in the DPT area of the IIT Roorkee Saharanpur Campus. Our address is on Star Paper Mill Road in Saharanpur. It’s an interesting spot because we are right there with the campus energy, even though we are our own entity. We focus on technical things and training. The office is pretty simple, located within the university grounds which makes it feel very academic. We have classrooms and some lab space where students and staff spend their hours. It’s not a corporate skyscraper. It’s a place where there is a lot of chalk dust and the sound of people discussing engineering problems. We’ve been here at the Saharanpur campus for a good while. The road outside, Star Paper Mill Road, can get busy with trucks and students on bicycles. We mostly spend our days looking at technical manuals and helping people learn new skills. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they need the specific training we offer. The building is a bit older, with high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light. We just focus on the education part and making sure the equipment is working for the next class. It’s a very practical, hands-on kind of environment here. We drink a lot of coffee and just keep the classes running on time.
