We've been at this spot on Dehradun Road for quite a while now. If you know where the P.W.D. Bungalow is, you’ve probably seen our place right across from it. It’s an old building, nothing fancy, but it works for what we do here. My father started things off and now I’m handling the day-to-day stuff with a small crew. We mostly deal with getting goods shipped out, managing the paperwork, and making sure the crates are packed right. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets pretty bad, especially in the mornings, but we manage. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions because of the bungalow nearby. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It's mostly just desks, phones, and stacks of shipping documents. It gets dusty in the summer. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can look a bit messy with all the boxes around. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure nothing gets lost in transit. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers or checking inventory lists. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We like being in this part of town. It feels like home to us. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break. That’s pretty much how things go at Hindustan Exportes. Just a regular business doing its thing day after day.
