You can find D. L. Textiles in Shamim Market over in Raiwala. We are very close to Jbs Inter College, so we see a lot of students walking past our doors every day. The market is always a bit chaotic. There are people everywhere, bicycles leaning against walls, and the sound of everyone talking at once. It’s a lively place to work. Our shop is packed floor to ceiling with rolls of fabric. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and if you don't know where you’re going, you might trip over a bundle of cotton. We’ve been in Shamim Market for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here. The lighting isn't great, so we usually have to take the fabric out to the front door to show people the real color in the sunlight. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it’s the only way to be sure. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. We talk about the weather, the local news, and how the college is doing while we measure out the cloth. It’s a simple business. We keep our scissors sharp and our ledgers full. Raiwala is a good place for a textile shop, and we are happy to be part of the mess.
