We are located right opposite the Govt. Quarter in Khatta Kheri, Islamabad. This is where Afreen Handicrafts operates. It is a pretty straightforward neighborhood, and we have been part of it for quite some time now. Our work revolves around making various handcrafted goods. The space we have is humble, filled with the materials we use every day and a few workbenches that have seen a lot of use. We don't have a fancy storefront with bright lights. Instead, you'll find us inside, busy with whatever project is currently on the table. Sometimes the local kids play outside, and their voices drift in while we work. It is a very grounded environment. We aren't trying to be a big corporation; we are just a group of people who know how to make things with our hands. Every piece we finish is a result of a lot of hours and a bit of sweat. We don't use big machines for everything, preferring the older ways that we were taught. It’s a quiet life mostly, focusing on the rhythm of the work and making sure we have enough supplies for the next week. We take pride in just being a local fixture. People around here know us and what we do. We don't need much more than our tools and a steady stream of work to keep us going in this little shop.
