Advance Computer

Advance Computer is located right in front of Vijay Talkies. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we're easy to find. Working across from a cinema means there is always something going on outside. We handle all sorts of computer issues here. It could be a virus, or maybe a keyboard that has a couple of keys stuck. We see it all. We don't use big words to explain what’s wrong. Usually, we just tell you what needs fixing and how much the part costs. It’s a simple setup we have here. The shelves are mostly full of old monitors and boxes of wires. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen how computers have changed over the years. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the workbench. Other days, everybody seems to have a broken laptop at the same time. We just take them one by one. It’s better that way so we don’t get confused. People stop in after seeing a movie sometimes to ask a quick question. We don't mind. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have what we need to get things running again. We mostly stick to our routine. Open in the morning, check the repairs from yesterday, and see who comes in. It’s what we do. It’s a quiet living but we enjoy it and hope to stay here.
