Skynet Computers

Our shop is right by the Bela Bus Stand, so it's always noisy with the buses coming and going. Skynet Computers has been in this spot for a good while now. It's a small room filled with keyboards, monitors, and cables tangled up in the corners. I spend most of my day looking at motherboards or trying to fix a screen that someone dropped. People coming off the bus often stop in because their phone or laptop died during the trip and they need help fast. We do a lot of quick fixes. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we're always wiping down the glass counters. It’s not a fancy electronics store like you see in the malls. We just have what people need, like mouse pads or chargers. Sometimes we run out of thermal paste and I have to wait for the courier to arrive from the city. The electricity goes out sometimes, which makes testing the PCs difficult, but we have a small backup. My brother helps with the software side of things when he isn't busy with his other job. We don't really do big ads or anything. Most people just see the sign while they're waiting for their bus. It gets crowded in here around five o'clock. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s just junk. There’s a lot of old parts sitting in the back.
