John Food

We are located at Shop number 1 on Phase 8 road in the Mohali Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of the city with all the factories and offices around here. Being near the NABI company means we get a lot of people coming in for their lunch breaks. We also send a lot of food over to Chandigarh since we are so close to the border. John Food isn't a fancy name and we aren't a fancy place. We just serve food to people who are working hard. Most of our customers are regulars who come every single day. We know what they like before they even sit down. The industrial area can be a bit gray and dusty, so we try to make our little shop a bit more welcoming. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us handling the cooking and the orders. The mornings are usually spent prepping vegetables and getting the meat ready. When the noon whistle blows, it gets very hectic very fast. We have to be quick because most people only have thirty minutes to eat. It’s a good feeling to see the same faces every day. We don’t do any big promotions or anything. People just know we are here on Phase 8 road if they need a decent plate of food that won't cost them too much.
